Siena Hockey welcomes the newest addition to the Saints Coaching Staff.

Sean Williams

(B.S.E. S.U.N.Y. Cortland ‘00/ M.Ed. American International College ‘05)

Sean begins his inaugural season as a member of the Siena Saints hockey staff after spending the past 3 seasons as a head coach at Shaker High School (Shaker/Colonie Jets).  In his tenure with the Jets organization, Williams helped lead the Jets to 46 victories, a CDHSHL League title, and back to back Suburban Council Championships.

Williams graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.  A four-year varsity hockey athlete, he helped lead the Red Dragons to the SUNYAC Tournament in 1996 and 1997.  Prior to attending Cortland, Williams was a four-year standout in both football and ice hockey at The Albany Academy.

Williams’s responsibilities with the Saints include recruiting, working with the forwards on and off the ice, and assisting with special teams.

He presently teaches Physical Education at Shaker High School and also coach’s baseball.  A native of Greenwich, NY, he currently resides in Clifton Park, NY.

Overall Record: 16 - 13 - 1

Final Regional National Ranking Period - Siena College is ranked 4th in the Northeast.

SECHL Regular Season Finish 3 rd Place.
